Dear Reader,

Sometimes a wonderful book series is born in a unique way. Such is TIME RAIDERS. The ROMVETS (women who have served in a military branch and are published or aspiring writers) got together in 2005 in St. Louis at a Romantic Times BOOKreviews conference. For us vets, it was a special time during which many of us who knew one another online got to meet face-to-face.

At the gathering, Merline Lovelace and I cooked up the TIME RAIDERS concept. The Seeker is the first of a four-book series that will include The Slayer by Cindy Dees, The Avenger by P.C. Cast and The Protector by Merline Lovelace.

When we approached Tara Gavin about publishing the books with the Nocturne line, she loved the whole idea for the projected series of sixteen titles but wanted to first try out this TIME RAIDERS idea on you, the reader, with these four titles. It is typical of people who have served in the military to stick together and do team projects. We've been taught by the military that we're only as strong as the team. And together, a team can do anything asked of it. A team conceived the idea for writing the TIME RAIDERS books, and the romances are written by military women who have served their country with pride. And we'd love feedback!
