Mistletoe and Murder
by Florence Case
One minute, probation officer Mallory Larsen is handing out hand-knitted Christmas gifts. The next, there's a gun at her head—and a bomb exploding. Fellow probation officer Shamus Burke saves her life, and she'll be sure to thank him for it…once she gets his assistance again. A girl's life depends on Mallory, and no one but Shamus can help her do what needs to be done. As the threats against Mallory escalate, she shows Shamus she won't back down on saving anyone—including him. But now someone's dead set on stopping them both from ever celebrating Christmas together.

Dear Reader,
As with most of my stories, what inspired me to write Mistletoe and Murder was a situation I found intriguing: How much would you be willing to sacrifice to fulfill a relative stranger's dying request to save his loved one from danger? What if you gave up a lot, only to find out fulfilling the request could make matters worse for the person you were supposed to be saving?
Mallory Larsen felt God-led to respond to that call and to the one to change Shamus Burke's life, and it worked out for her. She found answers and was freed from the guilt lacing her to her past. And best of all, she helped Shamus Burke, a wonderful man who was lost, to find God, and love, again. At Christmastime.
Thank you so much for reading Mistletoe and Murder. I hope you enjoyed it, and that you have a joy-filled Christmas and the happiest of New Year's!
